BREAKING NEWS (comedy) A huge corporate TV news channel's signal is accidentally swapped with that of a tiny Canadian town (i.e. CNN starts showing the Canadian Northern Network).

Worst of all, it happens right in the lead-up to a national election and the network is under contract to promote one of the candidates.

Panicked, the Big City TV execs invade the snowed-in hamlet, planning to commandeer the station's controls and get their message out, but the locals are not so fast to give up their new found noteriety.

And to the exec's chagrin, after a brief spurt of outrage, the American people sort of enjoy the folksy reporting about ice fishing and a missing schnauzer.

It's the young, beautiful personal assistant who figures out how to crack the Canadians' code, and she becomes the newest "local" reporter to woo the American Public (now addicted to the small town news).

But when she gets trapped in a remote cabin surrounded by a forest fire, the whole world stops to tune in. Will she survive the fire? Will the glitch get fixed? Will TV News ever be the same? Stay tuned for BREAKING NEWS!
